Hi all. Haven't been able to confirm and still not able to. It seems very unlikely I can do both days, and maybe neither. It's going to be last minute as it depends very much on whether my Dad is back home, as my Mum isn't driving at the moment so we are having to help out. Car hasn't been out since Christmas either so it may not even start. I'll update closer to the weekend.

OK so an improvement. It looks like I should be able to make Sunday as he's home now. If I don't get time to prep the car I'll be in the fire engine (big red Skoda). Lets hope it remains this way.

Hi ... is it too late to let you know I'll be there on Saturday? Breakfast too would be good? Hmm .... on scanning through posts it doesnt looklikely about breakfast? I'll have to find one of those truck stops you mentioned ... could offer a lift if anyone else wants to go?

Hi John, we didn't do the usual organised breakfast as when the pub was taken over they told us they wouldn't be able to do them, but they have now had a change of heart and said kitchen staff will be on hand Saturday morning so you should be ok to go in the pub and order your own and will hopefully be joined by others who also want breakfast, I will find out the cost etc and post on here hopefully later tonight.

Good news the lock is off gate ready for Friday, whoever is first there just tell the pub that you have arrived, bad news re the breakfast is that they were putting it on just for us and because we are not organised as we thought there were no breakfasts I cannot confirm any numbers and if they set up with staff and buy food and we only have a handful it will not be worth their time so we have agreed that on this first meet we will leave it.

Hi ... Looks like I'll only be there for about half day... need to get back to Coventry to watch rugby with PaulD at 2:30...
Will I be able to enter the field without an MG? I now have an X type estate .... The MG has been sold to a guy here in Newark who is well up on all things MG ...
