On the driveway up to the cafe is a plaque, here's what Google says, interesting read.

Funny they started the journey at Tixall wide, to get to the Nano site. I did the same although via the M6 rather than the canals.

I have walked a few miles of that canal passing by our venue , never noticed that but very interesting thanks for posting Dave
