Pershore 20th Dec 2011
A mini nano was planned outdoors but due to poor weather forecasts Bernard came to the rescue and got an indoor venue in his neck of the woods so off we went to Pershore wondering if it would snow as predicted.
There were plenty of jobs done on the nano crew cars, including fitting powerfold mirrors to Robs V8, Mick fixed his wondering fan blade which had detached from the motor thanks to a missing circlip, Lyndon changed a complete window mechanism, Paul was happy to find out that he has the modulator located under the battery box ready for his traction control mod, both Lyndon and myself checked our engine mounts and found all to be ok, I also fixed a loose rear exhaust shield, and a missing small premium bumper grille that had actually broken and been forced inside the bumper by a dead starling that was still inside the bumper, and lastly Paul and Duncan fixed a long standing electrical issue with my car which was a broken wire in the door pillar and now the central locking works fine with the key aswell as the fob
All in all a very successful day and it didnt start snowing until we got home !
A massive thanks to Bernard and his friends for the use of the venue and the BBQ food that kept us going, and cant wait for the next meet in March.
