October 2012
Well I'm very sorry to report that this was the last nano meet of the year, but what a way to bow out, after an initial foggy morning we had sunshine all the way and no rain whatsoever. 32 cars made it to the meet and a good day was had by all with Mick in charge of the BBQ and the cooking of sausages and burgers.
Plenty of jobs done including a possible first conversion of skullcap mirrors into powerfolds, and a look at Merl's new fabricated Premium bumper on a Mk1 MG, still has some finishing touches to do but looks great on the pictures below.
A big big thanks to all of you who came including those who burned lost of miles to get there, and thanks too for all your contributions into the "honesty box " to pay for all the food, I collected £157 which repaid my outlay of £135 and £22 left over which I will carry over to the next one
My pictures of the day below, look out for some cute ones of a Staffordshire Bull Terrier puppy called Jinksy, and even a few fireworks to finish lit by a pyrotechnics technical technician !
