Would appreciate help :help: in replacing drivers door lock actuator if I've not managed to do before then. I don't have any torx bits yet so will have to get some.
Thanks,
Martyn

Hi Martyn ( squire ).
Will be replacing my drivers door lock actuator. So perhaps we could help each other do them. Ive got some torx bits,so no need to buy any. I'm sure there will be some one to show us an easy way to replace them. Will be there on the Satureday.

Hi Les,
Thanks for that, I'm sure we'll be able to muddle through with it, Arctic (Steve) and a few others are always about and will give advice if they're not too busy. I've read some how to's, it's just knowing which clips to undo and whether the door glass has to come out. Think it's more fiddly than hard, the door card probably being the hardest.
What time are you arriving? I should be there for around 10, if we could get parked side by side it might help.
I've got at Wedgewood Blue Connie (KU51UFL)

I would appreciate anyone having a look at my whistling powerfold door mirrors. I am also looking at fitting a reversing camera and additional power socket.

I've had to do that ... so can happily help... not too bad a job... I know various people say you can do it without removing window glass... but after much mucking around I ended up removing window which then gives plenty of room...will have to hunt instructions out of this jobbie. ...

Well I've managed 2 door lock actuators without needing to take out the glass - took about 30 mins each and I'm no mechanic !

The guide I used is here http://forums.mg-rover.org/showthread.php?t=347242 you mau need to register to see it and the photos appear to have turned in to cats !

I should be there both days so can help if needed
