We had 15 cars today and lovely weather, few jobs got done plus the usual advice help and catching up with old and a few new faces , as ever thanks to everyone who came and particularly those who travelled a good distance to get to us, plus special thanks to all the crew and Steve (Arctic) who always works tirelessly from start to finish and because i had hurt my back the day before fitted my PCV and Air filter in my Freelander, my pictures of the day are at viewtopic.php?f=243&t=779&p=10620#p10620

Well what can we say, except the weather gods once again shinned on us, after a few days of rain, nice to see all the regulars and new faces, great to work along side Les and Scott again, gold resistor, fitted tourer tail gate brackets sorted out for Tom whom is a nice chap and was prepared to drive quite a long way to come and join fair play to him, also nice to see Duncan have a day to mix and rest from T4 work, even though he does not mind the T4 work stalwart of the Nano meets, looking forward to the next one in June when i might be in my new drive if i find it in time, all the best guys

These are the raw product before the centre hole is drilled. i used to have some different ones but run out of those, did a few at the Four ashes used to go round adding them before the strut broke away, prevention as the saying goes.

You can see the weak point spot welds on a joint which is always moving and becomes flexibly to the point it breaks.

Still miss that tourer.

It's taken at Hawkesyard Hall, near Rugeley so it makes sense. The upper floor of the turret shaped bit of the building was our confenece room. My lab was a bit further to the left (out of view).
