Midlands Nano Meets

The last but one meet of 2024 went well and the weather was kind to us up to 14.30pm by which time we were winding down, the T4 tent was packed away after Duncan had finished his list of health and fault finding checks.

Once again big thank you to Duncan for his T4 and overhaul knowledge on these cars.

Thank you for Mike bringing his tent for us.

A few jobs got done out of the way, handbrake compensator, tyre protectors fitted, an header tank fitted all on Simons car.

Popcorn had a manifold EGR exchange done photos later of the old one taken off.

Big shout out to Scott for tackling a wing change on the V8 owned by Mark190, he has thanked us on the OC, also Scott had a look at a rear door which was not opening from the inside and quick fix of the chocolate hook made no difference, we concluded in the end that the motor was at fault and another will be needed which can be fitted at the last meet.

Lots banter and good chat going round i think we had a total of 17 cars in the end which is not bad considering what the weather gods had in store for us later in the day.
